Quick Start
- Plug your existing headphones into the headphone jack on the bottom of the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL for iPod
- Plug the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL cable into the dock connector on your
iPod. You will hear the word "hello" in your headphones.
- When the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL light is red, it is listening for a
"keyword." The keyword tells the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL to listen for
an instruction. Say the factory default keyword "iPod."
- Wait until the light turns green. Then say one of the following
instructions:
- Play Music
- Stop Music
- Next Track
- Previous Track
- Rewind
- Volume Up
- Volume Down
- Exit
That's all there is to it!
Setting Preferences
While the ACCENDA VOICE CONTROL for iPod works right out-of-the-box for nearly all users, you can set your own preferences if you wish to use commands in a language other than English or if you have a strong accent.
While wearing the headphones, press
and hold MENU for two seconds.
- Press MENU to move to the next menu item
- Press SELECT to adjust the menu item
Follow the prompts to
- say or substitute your own commands
- Turn Bass Boost on or off
- Change the keyword prompt sound
